As a trauma-informed therapist trained in EMDR, I offer therapy to adults and couples seeking meaningful, lasting change. I am passionate about supporting clients through their healing journey with compassion, authenticity, and respect.
I believe therapy is not one-size-fits-all. I meet you where you are and tailor treatment to your unique needs, goals, and pace. Whether you are working through trauma, anxiety, relationship challenges, or life transitions, my approach is collaborative and grounded in evidence-based care.
My goal is to help you feel safer in your body, more connected to yourself and others, and empowered to create change that feels sustainable and true to you.

Jessica Ayers
Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern
I am a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern with a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Troy University. Before entering the counseling field, I spent ten years as a traveling musician and singer, an experience that deepened my appreciation for connection, emotion, and the power of personal stories. After experiencing profound personal loss, my life took a different path. Through my own healing journey as a widow and mother, I found myself drawn to the stories, struggles, trauma, and resilience of others and published my first book on surviving partner loss in 2023. After years of helping others through my personal experiences, I ultimately decided to make it official and pursue a career in counseling.
As a counselor, I specialize in grief in all its forms—from traumatic and sudden loss, including spousal loss, to the grief that can accompany relationship changes, career loss, and other significant life adjustments.
I work with clients of all ages and backgrounds and have a special interest in working with women navigating identity changes, postpartum and motherhood adjustments, career transitions, evolving relationships, and other significant shifts in life.
My approach to therapy is compassionate, authentic, and reality-based. I strive to create a supportive space where clients feel heard, understood, empowered, and encouraged as they work toward healing, growth, and rediscovering hope.
Brittney Conway
Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern
I am a Clinical Mental Health Counseling intern at the University of Western States in Portland, Oregon. Prior to entering the counseling field, I primarily worked with tactical populations as a Certified Mental Performance Consultant (CMPC).
Working with service members continues to inform my development as a counseling-in-training and my understanding of human performance in high-stress operational environments. My approach is grounded in the belief that growth isn’t about becoming someone new but rather engaging in meaningful and purposeful change that supports you in becoming more fully who you already are. I draw on evidence-based practices while remaining attentive to each client’s unique needs, values, and goals – recognizing that effective counseling is both a science and a collaborative process.
I am committed to providing care that is authentic, respectful, and compassionate. My goal is to support you where you are, at the pace that is right for you, in a therapeutic environment where you feel genuinely heard, valued, and understood.
